Lyme in Oregon Ticks
Tick studies by Burkot
et al
in Oregon showed an infection rate within
Ixodes pacificus
adults ticks of 3%. When Californai had infection rates of 4% in adult ticks they had infection rates of 41% in nymphal ticks. No such data is available from Oregon regarding nymphal ticks.
